As I have said, I recently purchased a shiney new Apple iPad2.
One of the apps for the iPad is called Flipboard. It's a LOVELY app. It formats all sorts of feeds as sort of a personal newspaper. This includes Twitter and Facebook.
But…
I have noticed that I don't FEEL as if I am as engaged personally with my tweetfolk as I am with a normal twitter client. I surmise it is because of the interface. Presenting other feeds as being newspaper format interposes a cognitive barrier to the act of reading them.
Its funny how the mind works and how the medium of communication colours the experience.
